Maurice Saindon

   It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice Saindon, husband of Marie-Luce Saint-Pierre, at the Residence Berthiaume du Tremblay on 28 May 2020, at the age of 83.

   In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his children Patrick (Carole), Roger, Léandre (Chantal), Pablo (Reyna) and Gabrielle, his grandchildren Sarah and Angelina, Éloise and Laura, Pablo and Océane, Lorik, his brother Claude (Nicole Landry) and his sisters Ghyslaine, Suzanne (Guy Ménard), Francine (Jacques Cédilotte) and Nicole (Pierre Meunier), his sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, cousins as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Gilles Camille Saindon

   We are also sad to announce the passing of Gilles (Gil) Saindon on 6 May 2020 in Saint Anne, Manitoba at the age of 82. He was the husband of Bernice Hupé and father of Bob (Cathy), Marc (Elaine), Don (Gloria) and Michelle (Wilf).

   He was the uncle of Claude Saindon, the second President of  the Association and participated in the 2004 World Acadian Congress in Nova Scotia as well as the 2005 Grand Reunion in Rivière-du-Loup.

Guy Fradette

   Passed away on 11 June 2020. He was the husband of Raymonde Saindon, sister of Daniel Saindon from L'Isle-Verte. He leaves behind his daughters Hélène (Daniel Drouin) and Chantal (Michel Baron).

   He was the Mayor of Saint-Anselme from 1979 to 1981.

Raoul Saindon

   Passed away last 12 April at the age of 93 of Covid. He was the husband of the late Marie-Emma Bédard. He leaves behind his two daughters Johanne and Rubis as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
